Pendry Hotels & Resorts has planted a D.C. flag with its opening of the Pendry Washington DC — The Wharf.
The 131-room hotel sits along the Potomac River and is part of The Wharf, a mile-long, mixed-use waterfront development located at the capital’s southwest end.
The property is home to three food and beverage venues, all helmed by D.C. chef Barry Koslow. They include Moonraker, a Japanese-inspired rooftop restaurant and bar concept; Flora Flora, an all-day restaurant that draws inspiration from Mexican and Peruvian cuisines; and Bar Pendry, billed as a “classic hotel bar,” adjacent to the lobby.
Other amenities include a Spa Pendry outpost, which comprises five private treatment rooms, two eucalyptus-infused steam rooms and a lounge, and a fitness center featuring equipment from brands like Technogym, Peloton and Tonal.
Rates at the Pendry Washington DC — The Wharf start at $355 per night.
Pendry’s D.C. hotel is the seventh in the brand’s lineup and follows the recent opening of the Pendry Park City mountain resort in Utah earlier this year.
