The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa has renovated all of its 537 guestrooms as well as common areas, a bar and a restaurant and added two room categories.
As a result of the $27.5 million renovation, the resort is now offering 40 Superior Junior Suite Private Pool Ocean View units and eight Superior Suite Private Pool Oceanfront View units. Surrounded by vegetation, both swim-up suite categories include private pools and terraces with seating and a wooden pergola. The eight Superior Suites are the largest in the hotel, each featuring a 161-square-foot pool and terrace fully furnished with a dining room. This room category has a private living room with a balcony, a larger bedroom and a relaxation area that includes a chaise lounge and a large glass window that overlooks the ocean.
Other updates include those of the Infinity Saloon Bar, which hosts live shows and performances and 180-degree views of the Caribbean Sea. The bar received new awnings and lounge-style furniture, with sofas and large armchairs. The lobby also received some enhancements such as white treillage lattices and mirrors on the wall, reflecting the resort’s English colonial style.
The MoBay restaurant has increased seating capacity to 286 and added two food stations.
Located in Montego Bay, the beachfront resort offers 1,054 rooms, 11 restaurants and 15 themed bars, various entertainment options and the Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness center as well as a pool it says is of the largest in the Caribbean.
