Eamonn Holmes to talk about life on daytime TV in a special cruise interview

Eamonn Holmes is set to spill the secrets on what it's like to work in daytime television as part of a special interview this autumn.

The TV icon will no doubt have plenty to share, boasting over 40 years on our screens – 26 of which have been on live breakfast TV.

Eamonn will be opening up about his life and career during the 'Audience With' interview onboard Imagine Cruising's 14-night Ultimate Cunard Canaries Sailcation, on Cunard's Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.

He's not the only famous face making an appearance on the luxury cruise holiday.

Passengers will also be treated to exclusive performances from West End star Michael Ball, songs from tenor and Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts, and a celebration of ABBA"s biggest anthems from spoof pop group Björn Again.

That's all alongside the ship's existing entertainment including glamorous gala balls (basically an excuse to dress up in your glitziest outfits with themes including the Roaring Twenties), fine dining, live music in the bars and lounges, trivia and live sports, and plenty more.

For those in need of a pampering, the Mareel Spa has heaps of ocean-inspired treatments as well as an Aqua Therapy Centre, or you can always take a dip in one of the ship's spacious pools.

Even the cabins are lavish, with guests getting serious perks like king-sized beds, a choice of SEVEN types of pillow, your very own stateroom steward for the whole trip, and nightly turndown service.

Of course a cruise holiday is about the destinations too, and again this one doesn't disappoint. Think sun-soaked hotspots such as Madeira's Funchal, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Spain's Cadiz and Portugal's Lisbon.

Basically, the perfect excuse to escape the dreary autumn weather and enjoy glorious sunshine, beautiful golden beaches, and some seriously good food and drink.

Although it's a luxury cruise, there are some tempting deals to be had if you want to get plenty of bang for your buck.

In fact, cabin fares start from £1,199pp for the 14-night holiday, which works out at approximately £85pp a night. The cruise departs October 18, 2021, and will sail on a round-trip from Southampton. You can book on imaginecruising.co.uk/starcruise.

It's worth noting that guests 18 years old and over will be required to have completed their Covid-19 vaccination course a minimum of 14 days prior to sailing.

  • The Foreign Office currently advises against cruise travel during the pandemic. Always check the latest advice before booking a trip.
