Lots of Halloween events are filled with family-friendly fun and lots of sweets.
However, that may leave child-free couples and singletons feeling like there aren’t many places for them to celebrate the spookiest time of the year.
Luckily, there are plenty of adult-only events this weekend so long as you know where to look.

Those looking for the experience of a lifetime may be tempted by hotel group Crazy Bear’s incredible Vampire Ball.
Running this Friday and Saturday – October 28 and 29 – from 7pm to 1am it’s set to be a sexy extravaganza.
Set in The Glasshouse at Crazy Bear Stadhamption, in Oxfordshire, there are a number of titivating and cheeky acts joining guests at the hotel.
Internationally renowned showgirl Marie Devilreux will delight you with her spectacular blood coffin burlesque show filled with vintage costumes and a hint of horror.
Crazy Bear will also feature soul and rock singer Kimberley Nichole as well as Decosta Boyce,
The Lost Boys are a pair of "flying vampires" who will dazzle with their aerial acrobatics show while circus performer Teagz will put on a feline inspired contortion act and a Vampire aerial pole show.
Pro dancers Kesnia Zsikhotska and Jo Baiao will take to the dance floor with their latin dancing and a professional cabaret performer who specialises in aerial straps – Lucius – will also perform.
There will also be a balancing act called "supernatural bones" involving lots of twisting, contorting and illuminating lights.
Guests will either be thrilled or horrified when the "dusk til dawn" snake show takes to the stage.
Special guest DJs, dancing "vampire vixens" and plenty of haunting decorations will make this hotel’s Vampire Ball a Halloween event to top all others.
Plus, you’ll get to dine on "blood punch", slow roasted ribs, pork sausages, mushroom cobbler or salmon in white wine as well as decadent buttery potatoes, honey roasted squash, poached pears, blue cheese, Italian salads, curries, sweet and sour dishes, pad Thai, rice dishes and indulgent desserts.
Tickets to the Crazy Bear Vampire Ball cost £69.50 and guests are required to "dress to impress".
The event is completely adults only – which comes as little surprise when it’s attached to such a distinctly sexy hotel.
Crazy Bear Stadhampton’s suites are all decorated in luxury styles with metallic grand beds, shining carpeted or padded walls and floor length curtains.
Some come with copper bathtubs and sparkling chandeliers perfect for a cheeky weekend away as a couple.
The hotel also features a Thai Massage parlour on site where you can be treated with hot oils by therapists trained in Thailand.
A room at Crazy Bear Stadhampton on October 29 costs from £459.
However, if you book on a night outside of the Vampire Ball events this dips to as low as £199 for the “tiny” suite.
