The 'world's best airline' for 2023 has been revealed, and it has some seriously luxurious offerings for passengers especially with its incredible First Class suites.
Qatar Airways beat out over 350 airlines at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022, with Singapore Airlines taking the second spot and Emirates third. (As for the UK, the highest ranked airline was British Airways which came in 11th overall).
The airline – which is based out of Doha – won for the seventh time in a row.

We’re not surprised that Qatar Airways came out on top – especially if passengers have chosen to fly in their First Class cabins.
The luxurious option is far from most of our budgets – unless you manage to snag a free upgrade – but it’s incredible to see how you could fly in style.
In First Class you’ll have plenty of places to store bags, coats and even hung up suits or dresses.
There’s a fully lie-flat bed so you can catch some kip at 35,000ft.
Passengers also receive free Diptyque amenities kit to keep fresh throughout the journey. Forgot your leggings? The free loungewear by the White Company should do the trick, not to mention you can take it home with you.
The food is also a major plus – with "cuisine designed by the best chefs in the world" and vintage wines.
The a la carte menu lets you choose whatever dish you fancy that day including freshly baked bread with infused oils, soups, cocktails and mocktails.
The caviar service is particularly mind-blowing as you’re served Oscietta caviar on Italian crystal plates with warm buttermilk blinis, melba toast and all the extras like onion relish, cream cheese, salmon and fresh lemon.
Plus, there are vegan dishes available now too alongside special meals for religious and health reasons.
If you want to work while you fly then the First Class cabin can turn into an office with a table, laptop power plug, USB plug and on-board Wi-Fi.
Alternatively, get comfy and watch one of the 4,000 entertainment titles onboard.
If you book to fly First Class, you’ll also get access to the Qatar lounges if they exist at your airport.
The lounges are fancy with some having water fountains as decor, plus there are restaurants with plenty of food included from both International and Arabic cuisines along with drinks.
Plus, there’s a business centre, cinema room, exclusive family area and even spa treatments on offer.
Even those who fly economy won't be left in cramped seats. The airline's economy cabin includes plenty of legroom, access to the in-flight entertainment with over 4,000 choices, and some delicious food too.
